A fully customizable, 3D printed screwdriver bit carrier designed for EDC pouches, Leatherman sheaths, and toolboxes. Available free on MakerWorld.

Bit Compatibility
- Standard 1/4"
- 4mm bits
- Leatherman-style bits (also compatible with Galvanox and other brands)
- Double-ended Wiha bits
- Double-ended Steinwhale bits
How It Works
Enter up to four dimensions and the model generates the optimal layout automatically — number of rows, bit orientation, and whether to use one or both sides of the carrier. It also accounts for bit stickout, which matters when fitting the carrier into a pouch or storage container.
Key inputs:
- Carrier dimensions — width, depth, thickness. The model picks the best layout for whatever space you have.
- Bit type — changes slot geometry and spacing automatically.
- Magnet size — set to 0 to remove, or dial in your preferred size.
Advanced Settings
These are exposed for users who want precise control, but defaults work well for most builds:
- Clearance — bit slot clearance (default 0.3mm)
- Wall Min / Floor Min — minimum plastic between slots
- Margin — plastic between slots and the edge of the part
- Bevel R / Entry Bevel — outer edge bevel and slot entry bevel for easier bit insertion
Example Build
Fitting a carrier into a Leatherman sheath: measure your sheath (e.g. 50 x 100 x 20mm), enter dimensions, select bit type, set magnet size with 0.2mm clearance, generate, and print. Add magnets using a stack-push method with a small amount of glue.
